The leaks revealed that Mualani can deal with Normal, Charged, and Plunge attacks, each delivering a different level of AoE Hydro damage. The character can also deliver up to 3 attacks using the Normal attack. Charged attacks use Stamina to create a Puffball that the character can smack into the air, while Plunge attacks plunge to the ground and deal damage upon impact.
The character can also reportedly use the Surfshark Wavebreaker skill to gain 60 Nightsoul points and enter the Nightsoul Blessing state. Nightsoul’s Blessing consumes Nightsoul points but enables the character to use the Surfshark on water and liquid Phlogiston, increasing her movement speed.
Sharky Bite, Mualani’s elemental skill, received an increase in its cooldown from 1.6 to 1.8 seconds. Attacking using the elemental skill applies ‘Marked as Prey’ to opponents, and Mualani gains 1 Wave Momentum stack. 3 Wave Momentum stacks also allow Mualani to use Sharky’s Surging Bite. A Sharky Bite hitting an opponent ‘Marked as Prey’ removes the mark and allows Mualani to fire Sharky Missiles to up to 5 opponents ‘Marked as Prey.’
According to the leak, several other aspects of Mualani’s kit have been changed, including the Leisurely Metzli Constellation, energy boosts after obtaining her Pufferballs, Stormburst Shot skill, and Heat-resistant Water Puffer.
Players seemed ecstatic about the recent leaks, while others showed disappointment. Other fans don’t yet understand the full meaning of all the buffs and nerfs on Mualani’s kit.
