A happy day for LINK owners today as a hefty growth spurt of over 15% in the last 24 hours takes Chainlink’s LINK token to $25, a new all-time high.
Eagle-eyed Link Marines (holders and champions of the coin of the realm) saw the writing on the wall at the start of the week, when LINK dabbled briefly with prices of $22 to $23 on Monday and Tuesday.
Today, LINK set a new high watermark of $25.45 at 3:41 PM UTC, settling on a market cap of over $10 billion. Its current price is $25.13.
Chainlink: The bigger picture
LINK’s performance, however, is as volatile as the tempers of the Link Marines. LINK hit a new all-time high of $21 on January 15, only to crash by 20% some three hours later.
Still, while Bitcoin’s bull run attracted much gushing from all quarters, Chainlink had an even bigger year, exploding 1300% from a mere $1.77 on New Year’s Day 2020 to its current ATH.
