VOICE social media network to require Identity Verification for all users

A multibillion-dollar blockchain, Block.one with its record-setting token sale $ 4 billion plus, is all set to launch a new platform Voice that would ultimately keep the bots off of its social media sites and would verify users identity against their government ID.

Brendan Blumer CEO of Block.one made the announcement about this new feature in Washington D.C on June 1, 2019. He further stated that the company is aiming for a self-sustaining platform and will aggressively be spending on marketing.

Reportedly, the blockchain had a record token sale of four billion dollars ($4billion) in June last year.
Furthermore, Blumer stated that it has become vital to have knowledge of others with whom one is interacting, getting information from, and that source is an actual person or not. All users will be individually verified, and Block.one will pay for every single verification. Government IDs will be compulsory for the verification process.

This primary attribute of Voice will be the main differentiating factor against Twitter, Facebook and other networks. With most networks plagued with problems of false information, abuse and online bots.

Although this new platform would prove to be a major step in overcoming the security challenges for the blockchain, however, there are also those in the crypto community who seek to remain anonymous, and this feature might scare them off.
